Recently, the TCSM council agreed to re-start the program where the pastor spends all her time at one church, one Sunday each quarter.  June 30 will be our Sunday to have Pastor Bobbie with us all morning.  This Sunday is also the 5th Sunday, and we will have a basket dinner after worship.  However, we had previously agreed to rent the fellowship hall to another family on that date, so the basket dinner will be held at the Greer's house.  We look forward to seeing you that day.

The next church event will be the Ice Cream Supper, on July 20.  Mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Welcome to Longwood Presbyterian Church, a PC (USA) congregation, serving the northwest corner of Pettis County Missouri.  We are a small rural church and the activity center of the Longwood community.  Longwood is a small town east of US 65 Highway, and south of Interstate 70 Highway.  If you are traveling on I-70, exit at approximately marker 78, and take the south exit onto US 65 Highway towards Sedalia.  After you have travel 4 miles south of I-70, turn east on State Hwy BB and go approximately 3 miles.  As you approach the town of Longwood, our church will be in sight off to the right on a gravel road, Longwood Road.  Please note that our address is Marshall, MO, but we are a rural church and NOT in Marshall, as Google would have you believe.  We invite you to come worship with us on Sunday mornings at 9:30.  Rev. Roberta Karchner serves as pastor to us and our two Presbyterian sister churches, Otterville and Range Line.  We thank God for blessing us by sending Pastor Bobbie into our lives. 

Our congregation is varied with our folks working in farming,  industry, commerce, education, and government.  We have an age variance in our worshipping community from new born to 80's, and are a warm, loving congregation actively interested in sharing our lives and the Good  News of Jesus Christ with all who enter our doors.

Please join us for our worship celebration on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. just off Hwy. BB, in the Longwood community.  You can also join us at our moving Christmas vespers, our stirring Good Friday and our glorious Easter Services, as well as the special youth-led services.  Throughout the year, we have several fund-raising events, including our Chili and Soup lunch in January, our Ice Cream Supper in July, and our Lord's Acre Sale in October.  These events provide funding for everything from maintenance to mission.  Come and help us celebrate life with Christ!
